15-12-26   THOUGHTS

We used Ps 56:9b in a post just recently, but we surely need it next to this reading...
                 “This I know that God is for me.”
The intimate connections in this passage area, are surely  God drawing near to us.  More than that, they are ways to produce our drawing near to Him!  We seem to be talking about “relationship forming”  between God and His created ones...  We should strive toward this with all our heart, soul, and mind.  

Rom 8:26-28     In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27  and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.  28  And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Our Prayer:
How blessed we are, O God.  We see Your precious desire for the souls of men in the words above.  It is YOUR WILL that Your Spirit intercede between us and You.  We struggle, O God, to comprehend the implications of what we are reading.  One thing we know, it is most wonderful!  O Awesome Father, bring us to Your Glory when our time comes. Thank You for the blessedness of being Your children.  It’s all in Jesus,   Amen.
